Over the past 12 months over a hundred K-12 educators, university academics, nonprofits, tech companies, and state government officials collaborated to produce the recently announced K-12 Computer Science Framework. Launched with the endorsement of Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft, as well as College Board, Teach for America, and dozens more technology and education organizations, the Framework provides guidance for states and schools that want to embrace computer science, and is a unique moment of unity for the entire computer science education community. This is a big step in the movement to bring every student in every school the opportunity to learn computer science.
