On Tuesday the 4th of December 2018 on his weekly breakfast show Nick Ferrari questions Michelle Obama’s popularity by asking listeners ‘What has she achieved?’During the course of the show Mr Ferrari made the very offensive claim that her popularity was solely down to the fact that ‘she is black’. Despite callers trying to educate him on what Michelle Obama represents as the first black First Lady whilst highlighting her influence and inspiration to young women worldwide, Mr Ferrari insisted that she is being in his words ‘Deified’ simply because of the colour of her skin. This was an offensive and unprofessional display of racist dog whistling that someone is his position should not be allowed to engage in with such a large audience.
