After the Planning Commission at their January 19th meeting unanimously voted 8-0 to recommend to the Oconee County Board of Commissioners that they deny the rezone application, the applicant asked that the BoC hearing, originally scheduled for the February 2nd meeting be delayed until the March 2nd meeting. The Board of Commissioners at their January 24th agenda setting meeting voted to grant this delay.

At this time, the hearing for the rezone application is scheduled for MARCH 2nd 2021. Please make every effort to attend this meeting either in person or via zoom to make your voice heard.

Please continue to share this petition with our Oconee County neighbors. As of this morning we have over 700 signatures asking that this rezone be denied.
