We know you’re busy, but here are a couple of 5-minute actions which will make a real difference and help us get rid of the Jesmond bollards and road blocks.

1) Please post a complaint on Newcastle Council’s Commonplace consultation website.

Tell them about the negative effect the road closures are having on your life.

The more complaints they receive, the more likely they are to listen to reason !

2) Get one more person you know who opposes the current scheme to sign the petition.

It could be a friend or colleague or your partner ? Don’t assume they’ve signed it just because you have.

And remember to remind them to check their email to confirm their signature - or it won’t count.

Even better if you can get them to complain to the council as well. Every complaint helps.
