Higham Surgery - Application for Closure

Good Morning All,

I am sure you have all seen (first I had seen & heard) the post from MP Lauren Sullivan that the application has now been sent to the ICB for closure of our Higham Surgery! 

To say I am gutted is an understatement, but it’s about what we do now that could really have an impact and we all need to come together again and continue this fight to keep our surgery! 

You more than likely all sent emails around January time to the ICB and no doubt received the same response that an application had not been received therefore, nothing more to be said… 

Now is your time, we need to bombard the ICB inbox and make ourselves heard, raise your concerns; 

- How does this closure affect you? 

- Where are you going to drop your repeat prescriptions? 

- How would you get to another surgery? 

- How much public transport is readily available and how  long would it take?

- What is your mobility like? 

Please speak with your neighbours & friends if they do not have access to social media / emails, on their behalf and with their consent please write to the ICB, we need as many people as possible!
