Dear Supporter,

It is with deep sadness we report the sale of the church to Gary Humphreys, the developer, was completed on July 17th, 2020. The sale process took over 9 months to complete after planning had been granted, thus the long delay since our last communication. 

We can confirm that we secured two visitor parking bays in the development for visiting the graveyard with one visitor parking bay during the construction phase.

Construction on the building cannot start until a series of planning conditions are submitted and approved. Development on the parking area has started with clearing the area - you can see in the photo the visitor bay provided. 

The Diocese of Guildford has also confirmed that the developer is responsible for maintaining the lane to the parking area and ensuring clear access by trimming the bushes back which are significantly encroaching the lane and impeding visibility and passing width. This is to be completed by October 17th.
