Object the Construction at Preston Road, Wembley

Object the Construction at Preston Road, Wembley
The Issue
The first application was rejected. So they have put another application (Application ref number 25/2875) without any consideration of the concerns raised in the first application. Aside from making it look like they have changed aesthetic very so slightly. Still very out of place.
The proposed erection of a two-storey, three-bedroom dwelling house on the vacant parcel of land directly to the North of 125 Preston Road, Wembley, is concerning to me. As a resident whose home is directly affected by this development, I am deeply worried about the impact it will have on my living conditions, privacy, the natural greenery that we cherish, and the overall aesthetics and peace of our neighborhood.
The pre-existing charm of our area is marked by its lush greenery and peaceful environment, which provide a much-needed escape from the bustling urban life. The construction of a new dwelling will not only disrupt this tranquility but may also lead to increased traffic, noise pollution, and stress on local infrastructure. The front brick boundary wall proposes to enclose more of the natural frontage of the area, further diminishing the open and welcoming ambiance we currently enjoy.
In addition to the environmental and societal disturbances, we are concerned about the precedent this sets for future developments, potentially spiralling into a loss of distinct community character that makes Wembley unique. Housing developments like this one must take into account the desires and concerns of existing residents, prioritizing our quality of life and the preservation of community spaces that are so important for our collective wellbeing.
I urge the local planning authorities and relevant stakeholders to reconsider this proposal, evaluating the long-term consequences on residents and natural landscape before proceeding. Sign this petition to help us protect our homes, privacy, and beautiful Wembley environment.
