Beyond this Petition - Sincere Gratitude & Next Steps in Staying United
I want to introduce you to something I’ve been building: Our Oakville.
Over the past few years, I’ve advocated on issues that matter to our community from dress code standards, crime and safety, and most recently the proposed data centres.
And I’ve noticed the same thing every time.
Residents care. We show up. We ask questions. We write letters. We attend meetings. We do the research.
And yet, getting a clear answer or simply getting heard can take an extraordinary amount of time and effort. We are often sent from one level of government to another, given partial answers, or left trying to figure out who actually has the power to make a decision.
I don't think it should be this hard.
So I’ve created Our Oakville to formalize what many of us have already been doing and take it much further.
The goal is simple:
Bring Oakville residents together. Make the government easier to understand. Connect the dots between all levels of government. And make sure residents have a meaningful voice in the decisions that affect our community.
This isn't a political party. It isn't about telling anyone what to think.
It is about information, participation and accountability.
The municipal election gives us an important moment to start. But Our Oakville is intended to continue long after the election.
If you’ve ever felt that navigating the government shouldn't require this much time, persistence and frustration, this is for you.

One community. Every voice. Every level of government is accountable to us.
You will see a dedicated area for AI and Data Centres and I will keep everything housed there.
