Aug 29 Plan Commission meeting may be the final decision

The Plan Commission will continue its discussion of the Albion/Sammons tower on August 29, 7:00 at Village Hall. This may be the final meeting, at which the Commission decides its recommendation to the Village Board. This may be our last chance to be seen and heard by the Commission; last chance to write e-mails to planning@oak-park.us and board@oak-park.us, to nudge your friends and neighbors to join you in signing the petition, and to be there in person, on Aug. 29, for a show of opposition. Remember, if the Plan Commission votes against the proposal, it will then need 5 out of 7 votes to pass when it goes to the Village Trustees, rather than 4. That might really matter, especially with the 3 newly-elected Trustees now on the board. -- Josh
