E-mail and petition drives continue; Plan Comm continutes hearings

Please continue to gather support via e-mails to the Plan Commission and Trustees, and through urging your friends and neighbors to sign the petition on-line or on paper. (See the Change.org page for links and updated info.) At the August 10 meeting, Albion got to answer more questions from the Commission and to cross-examine the Park District. Albion's strategy now is to make small adjustments to the design to make it a bit friendlier-looking to passers-by, but they are still proposing to put 400 new residents on that little site, in a 200-foot tall tower overshadowing Austin Gardens. Hearings continue on August 22, 7:00 at Village Hall, and the Plan Commission may make its decision as early at August 29.
