Sobre a proposta: Petição para escolas Curitibanas e do Paraná para que incluam ensinamento sobre o impacto e influência da cultura negra em Curitiba ao longo da história. Adicionando este currículo para escolas públicas e particulares irá trazer ao conhecimento de todos, como a cultura negra teve seu impacto na sociedade e como surpreendentemente muitas pessoas não sabem disso. Assim, seria ideal que este aprendizado e reconhecimento sejam obrigatórios em escolas, criando uma cultura e população mais receptiva às diferenças étnicas. 

O problema: No Paraná, como em Curitiba, é possível ver uma baixa porcentagem da população declarada negra ou parda, sendo o terceiro estado com menos diversidade nessa área. Mesmo assim, é um dos estados que mais apresenta casos de injúria racial, avançando nos casos de homicídios e violência contra a população negra, um número crescente. Segundo o Fórum Brasileiro de Segurança Pública (FBSP), entre 2017 e 2018, houveram 3,46 casos de injúria racial reportados por dia, uma taxa muito alta considerando a quantidade de negros no estado. Além disso, os casos de racismo aumentaram 440% no Paraná em 2020, um aumento gigantesco, mostrando quanto ainda há de melhorar. Assim, começando essa educação em escolas, iremos combater dados como esses.

Como isso vai ajudar?: As pessoas reconhecendo a história e cultura negra que impactaram suas específicas cidades brasileiras irá com certeza reduzir o racismo em geral, mas especificamente o racismo institucional. Como o ditado diz, "o preconceito nasce da ignorância". Educando novas gerações sobre o assunto irá lhes dar flexibilidade contra o preconceito que se encontra profundamente enraizado no Brasil. Afinal, o racismo é a prova de o quanto ainda somos primitivos, sendo a lógica e a educação a maneira mais certa de combatê-lo. Assegurando a diversidade e uma cultura mais receptiva, onde independente de suas personalidades físicas, você será tratado da mesma maneira.

About the proposal: Petition for schools in Curitiba and Paraná to include teaching about the impact and influence of black culture in Curitiba throughout history. Adding this curriculum to public and private schools will bring to everyone's knowledge, how black culture has had its impact on society and how surprisingly many people don't know it. Thus, it would be ideal for this learning and recognition to be mandatory in schools, creating a culture and population more receptive to ethnic and racial differences.

The problem: In Paraná, as in Curitiba, it is possible to see a low percentage of the population declared to be black, being the third state with less diversity in this area. Even so, it is one of the states that most presents cases of racial injury, advancing in cases of homicides and violence against the black population, an increasing number. According to the Brazilian Public Security Forum (FBSP), between 2017 and 2018, there are 3.46 cases of racial injury reported per day, a very high rate considering the number of black people in the state. In addition, cases of racism increased 440% in Paraná in 2020, a gigantic increase, showing how much remains to be improved. So, by starting this education in schools, we will tackle data like this.

How it will help?: People recognizing how black history and culture has impacted their specific Brazilian cities will certainly reduce racism as a whole, but also specifically institutional racism. As the saying goes, "prejudice is born out of ignorance". Educating new generations on the subject will give them flexibility against the prejudice that is deeply rooted in Paraná. After all, racism is proof of how primitive we are, with logic and education being the surest way to fight against it. Ensuring diversity and a more receptive culture, where regardless of your physical personalities, you will be treated in the same way.
