New York as we can see has been taken over by bicyclists. These bicyclists have their own lane as well as drivers have their own. However bicyclists don’t always follow the laws as well as drivers. Bicyclists should be required to have registration and insurance at all times while owning and or using the bicycle. In the event a driver hits a bicyclist we as drivers are insured in which the bicyclist can sue. But more and more pedestrians and cars are being struck by bicyclist whom walk away without any issues (most cases). We the people demand all bicyclist be registered and insured through the DMV !!
