The only reason given for hunting Nevada's black bears is to provide a recreational opportunity for trophy hunters.  The bear hunt is not needed for population control, will not address human/bear conflict and costs more to conduct than it makes.  Public support for wildlife management is weakened by instituting hunts that run counter to the values of the majority of Nevadans who oppose this hunt.  STOP THIS HUNT NOW and begin managing a public trust for the public, not a handful of trophy hunters. "Home means Nevada" to our Black Bears too!
