Stop the cruel and unnecessary hunting of NV Black Bears using packs of hounds. NV Wildlife Values report shows that only 13% of Nevadans approve of this method of hunting. More than half of all states conducting bear hunts have outlawed this socially unacceptable practice.
Nevada has stopped pitting dogs against dogs; Nevada has stopped pitting roosters against roosters; Isn't it time Nevada stopped pitting dogs against bears? How many more bears like Brutus have to suffer such a horrible and needless death? How many more Nevadans have to watch in shame as their state allows this uncivilized killing of an iconic species?
