As Simon Monteiro (aka Simon Lowe)'s parole-hearing looms closer, we need to SHARE this petition widely so that Minister for Corrections David Elliot will consider Simon Monteiro a serious high risk offender and defer his release from jail. Simon’s past history has shown that within a matter of days of being released he has reoffended. The arguments for granting Simon parole is that he can be tracked and monitored. However, Ankle tracking only alerts known victims who have agreed to be identified. This will not protect the many victims who are too terrified to come forward, and it certainly won't protect any of Simon's future victims. SIMON WILL REOFFEND. His past behaviour and his lack of remorse has made this clear. Simon has already indicated that he will 'outsource' his violence and revenge. It is all too easy for perpetrators to coerce others and remain under the radar of their parole officers. None of his parole conditions actually protect his victims, past or future Please share far and wide. We will be heard.
