The NSW Government has released the 2016/17 budget. NOT ONE CENT has been made available to save the Butterfly Cave from development, despite the Government stating there is:
• $48 million to conserve, celebrate and enjoy New South Wales’ unique Aboriginal and other historic heritage
We are asking people to respectfully contact Minister Mark Speakman and ask why the Government will not fund the protection of at risk Awabakal heritage. Don't Awabakal women matter?

Thank you for your continued support. Campaign fatigue is insidious when these battles drag on - but we MUST keep this conversation going if we want to protect Aboriginal heritage in NSW. We need stand alone legislation that will ensure the wanton destruction of culture for profit is eliminated and to achieve that we must fight on.
