Comprising almost two thousand pages of information, it details what we feared – a gross overdevelopment on the doorstep of Sydney’s Old Town, Millers Point – obliterating historic vistas to and from Observatory Hill.
To rub salt into the wound, a gratuitous cash grab residential tower, some 20+ stories on the northern edge of the area eclipsing what has been the tallest building in Millers Point for over 100 years (that’s what the suburb, Barangaroo used to be called) – The Palisade Hotel. Our Premier doesn’t like Blues Point Tower across the harbour from Millers Point, so why is he allowing his own “Barangaroo Point” Tower?
