Update #2 - A response and the next step

Hi All, just another update for you.

We have received a response from the Office of Minister of Police Troy Grant which discusses the want/need for a larger police presence at music festivals following the tragic deaths of two patrons at Defqon.1, however we feel the heavy music scene is being unfairly categorised in the same demographic as EDM Festivals and the culture associated with them. 

At the moment we are reviewing information shared with the public from the NSW Government/Police and Dept. of Liquor, Gaming and Racing and preparing our own report/findings to send back regarding everything we have discovered over the duration of the past few weeks.

Due to the timing, there is no way we'll be able to have our say before the first Good Things Festival takes place this weekend, unfortunately, however, we hope that our report and findings may help to influence the future of the music event and similar, like-minded festivals in future in NSW/Sydney.
