Two Councilmembers Bring Hamilton Issues for Future Agenda. Write them before Tuesday meeting.

Hi All, There are two important Hamilton issues being proposed for this Tuesday night's (4/4) agenda setting schedule for the next quarter. Please write your city council in SUPPORT of bringing these two items to a future agenda. novatocouncil@novato.org THREE VOTES are NEEDED! 1. One is a discussion of adding Hamilton as a focus area to the General Plan 2035. This is an important and forward thinking city document on land issues, planning, traffic, city resources, funding, etc. Hamilton's vacant parcels and other city properties at Hamilton are MISSING from this important city-wide plan. This agenda item is proposed by Council member Pam Drew. 2. The second is regarding the former site of the Sport Complex. The proposed agenda item is regarding the easement held by RHM Development, LLC for the proposed Marin Sport Academy (or Sports Complex). Council member Eklund would like to request that the city of Novato acquire that easement for PASSIVE RECREATION USES on Landfill 26 or to have input if the developer plans to renew that lease.
