To the Student Body:

Following the news of Arizabal's ousting, the Legislative Branch has released the official charges and the resulting rules for succession.

She was convicted of the following charges:

  1. Betrayal of Student Trust; and
  2. Incompetence of Duty.

It was also mentioned in their announcement that the Rules of Succession shall apply immediately; in the vacancy of the Office of the Governor, the Vice Governor shall assume the Office of the Governor in her place. Because Mikaela, the Vice Governor, has resigned before the impeachment, the rules state that the First Representative will assume the Office. As mentioned before, Mr. John Vincent Paballa shall be the new Governor of CBA should he accept.

The spotlight now shines on Vincent; will he accept the office or expressly decline the post? Only time will tell.

Insider sources indicate that Paballa has been deemed inactive. Next in the line of succession is Garry Loyd Lagan, who previously ran for Governor against Arizabal. However, he is reportedly unable to accept the position due to his current On-The-Job Training (OJT) commitments.

This leaves Emmanuel Villaba and Althea Gozo as the remaining representatives on the roster. Who will step up to lead the College? Will a snap election take place?

We will see more updates in the future. For now, let's rejoice in celebration for the finality of this chapter that is Arizabal.
