To the Student Body:
We have received reports that faculty members are advising students to "refrain from adding fuel to the fire." We respect the wisdom of our mentors and the sanctity of the Dean's Office. However, student safety is not a "fire" to be ignored; it is a crisis to be solved.
The Safety Crisis (The "Ambulance" Incident) During the recent CBA Days, reports indicate that nearly 100 students required medical attention, with ambulances witnessed rushing to the venue.
Our Appeal to the Dean's Office: We believe the College Dean deserves a Student Government that manages events competently and ensures student safety.
- We respectfully ask the Dean: Please review the incident reports from the CBA Days.
- The Question: Did the CSG provide adequate water, ventilation, and crowd control? Or did their negligence endanger the students under your care?
To the CSG: Do not hide behind the Faculty. Do not hide behind the Dean. Answer for your own failure to keep students safe.
To the Students: If you were hurt or medicated during the event, we need your records.
