Tomorrow, Friday, May 15, the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on another COVID-19 stimulus package, the HEROES Act. In its current form, this package is devastating for farmed animals. It fails to address cruel high-speed slaughter practices and includes funding for "depopulation," a euphemism for the mass killing of animals. Approved methods for such killings include slowly suffocating birds and slamming baby piglets headfirst into the ground.

Stimulus money shouldn't fund animal abuse. Contact your representatives and urge them to vote against the HEROES Act before May 15.
