Since the end of 2021 Northern Rail have been running reduced train services at peak times across West Yorkshire.

In particular there is now no commuter service for the residents of Featherstone or Streethouse who find themselves stranded & unable to travel into Wakefield or Leeds for jobs, school or college.

There has been no consultation on this matter & despite pressure, services have not improved.

This must be addressed immediately to give the people of West Yorkshire access to the decent employment & education opportunities they deserve.
