We appreciate your taking the time to offer us your comments and suggestions, and for forwarding a copy of Mr. Gravelle's response.  Customer feedback is a valuable tool in our continuing efforts to improve our services.  The new reality of passenger rail in our country as obligated by the Federal Government is affordability, financial viability, and practicability.  VIA must and will bring these criteria into consideration when decisions have to made, while our annual subsidy remains the same.  You may be assured that the suggestions of concerned Canadians, such as yourself, are taken seriously. Your comments regarding bringing VIA back to the north shore of Lake Superior have been noted for future consideration.
