It was forty years ago this week that VIA RAIL was born. With that in mind I am posting a pic of the VIA along the scenic north shore of Lake Superior. There may be some good news for the return of rail service here. Nationally known analyst and policy adviser to both ALL ABOARD committees Greg Gormick is working on a NorthwestLynx concept for the North Bay, Sudbury and Thunder Bay route. He is currently working on NortheastLynx route. So there is a glimmer of hope,maybe, for the return of rail service here.�
