Help Stop New House Construction Affecting Rural Beautiful Village

Help Stop New House Construction Affecting Rural Beautiful Village
The Issue
Coastal Rural Village in North Devon, Croyde, is being destroyed by greed. New houses and flats are being constructed throughout the village, ruining the quiet image of thatched cottages and a little stream that is loved by so many.
This character of the village is slowly fading, as more modern holiday lets are being produced, the locals are being forced out of their homely village due to the large amounts of money and greed consuming and exploiting the natural area. The roads around and in Croyde cannot cope with the amount of traffic. "The roads are already under severe pressure for six months of the year and a development such as this exacerbates the problem, with no solution." - Guy Townsend.
As of recent, a mass of houses has destroyed the stunning views that locals have enjoyed and grown up with. This is a loss of privacy, loss of nature, loss of character, loss of tourism appeal, loss of natural beauty, just for the gain of a money hungry few, and it needs to end. These houses are not needed, and exist just to profit the rich. "We don't need any more houses here. They won't be for locals anyway they will be for people who are loaded and can afford to buy them thereby pricing young people and locals out of the market." - Lucy Davies
In particular, a famous and stunning view of Croyde, with rolling fields of wild flowers is at risk of destruction by a city style row of terrace houses.
Please help, sign and share - it will be greatly appreciated.
