End North Carolina's Prohibition on Psychedelics

End North Carolina's Prohibition on Psychedelics
The Issue
A call to the North Carolinian Legislative body to end the prohibition on naturally occurring psychedelic substances for personal and scientific use.
Naturally occurring psychedelic plants and fungi have been used in human culture for as long as written history exists. Humans have used these substances for spiritual, mental, and physical healing as well as growth. The United States of America and North Carolina banned these substances without proper evaluation and have enacted a prohibition infringing on the rights of the people. This prohibition is unjustified and needs to be reserved so the unalienable rights of the people can be restored.
The petition:
We, the people of North Carolina, call upon our representative to end the prohibition on naturally occurring psychedelic plants and fungi. Now is the time to protect the personal freedom to engage with nature and resume the scientific research on psychedelics as tools for mental and human health.
