The petition didn't win, but...

I want to thank those of you who felt strongly enough about Pat McCrory's betrayal of the people of North Carolina to sign my petition calling for his resignation. The petition didn't gain enough traction to even reach 500 signatures, but the people of North Carolina won in the end. Roy Cooper replaced McCrory as governor, and NC has a chance to move forward again. The struggle for equality and fairness, for the "liberty and justice for ALL" that our pledge of allegiance promises, still goes on. But we aren't alone.
