One day left before we present this petition to Norfolk County Council cabinet to try to get them to reinstate school holiday meal vouchers to help hard up families keep their children fed.

The cost of living crisis is hurting us all, but some more than others. Vouchers help and provide some extra dignity. Nobody should have to rely on food banks. Even they are struggling as donations dwindle from generous people who are now feeling the pinch themselves. Whichever way you come at it, those who lose out most are those who have least left to lose.

Signing and sharing this petition, and even getting the vouchers we are fighting to reinstate, won’t solve the problem. It does show you care, it matters, and when we hand over the petition it adds your weight to the many examples of first hand experiences struggling families are bringing to us.
