POWER GROUP Presents YOUTH EMPOWERMENT SUMMIT 2016 What is the Youth Empowerment Summit? The Youth Empowerment Summit is a carefully crafted plan to encourage youth of New Orleans to expand their borders, do well in school, life and achieve the more. The first of many will commence Saturday October 1, 2016 Lyons Center 624 Louisiana Ave. 11 AM with 2000 including children and parents. The Youth Empowerment Summit will serve as an open discussion about issues concerning, education, drugs, violence, safe sex and importance on voting. Who are they? They are us. They are the little reciprocation of what we teach them. What will we give them to be a viable to their future? Y.E.S will teach them the importance if dedication and focus toward positive goals and how to pre pare themselves for opportunities that grant success. The message we send to them now dictate where they go; the seed we plant today determine how they grow. They will learn the tools needed to tap into their DREAMS, those things that inspire us to live. How do we reach them? In order to give our future what it needs, we use innovative techniques to incorporate lessons in nutrition community service, conflict resolution, and college saving. On Saturday October 1, 2016 The Youth Empowerment Summit will unify music with education. Our youth will experience an “Free” obscenity free concert.
