It's well known that New Orleans is a city of culture and music. We intend for this year’s festival to be able to capture the ears and hearts of its audiences, with a fusion of local hip hop, R&B, Jazz, Gospel and New Orleans brass band instrumental mastery. Again, the Festival will take place on, October 2, from 10 -12 pm and October 3 and 4, 2015, from 1:00pm – 7:00pm at Lyons Center 624 Louisiana Ave in Uptown New Orleans and will feature exciting artists including DJ Jubilee, Roi Anthony, Hot 8 Brass, and Cupid along with addresses from community leaders, and presentations from local sponsors. We wish to secure a fee waiver for Lyons Center gym to celebrate with fun and excitement for each one present.
On August 29, 2005 Hurricane Katrina devastated the gulf coast. In the first week of October of 2005 we were allowed back in the city to start the rebuild process. On October 2, from 10 -12 pm and October 3 and 4, 2015, we will be hosting the 1st Annual NOLA Family Fest (NOLAFF). (NOLAFF), is a byproduct of the passion, vision, and collaboration of Central City Partnership and The Power Group. These organizations bring distinctive resources and experience to the (NOLAFF), as they have partnered in effort of supporting and empowering the citizens of New Orleans. (NOLAFF) was created in an effort to commemorate the 10th Year Anniversary of when the citizens of New Orleans were able to come back to New Orleans to either return to their homes as residents or to assess their property damages.
