Smith State Prison had kiosks removed when the new tablets were issued is my understanding.

The kiosks were a way to access email without  a tablet.

Now, they have removed the tablets. So email, movies, video games are not available at this time.

Even to transfer to another prison would not guarantee email access.

The only options are "snail mail" or phone calls when the phone is not broken.

This is a very dangerous situation. I repeat- this is a very dangerous situation.

One more time for those in the back- This is a dangerous situation.

In case of an emergency, snail mail is Not a reasonable option. If the phone is out of order and email access is no longer available, all inmates who are wrongfully incarcerated or even close to release are being put in compromised position. All inmates are in compromised positions. This scenario almost forces cell phones (which is contraband) to become more valuable.

Georgia is going to need some deep pockets if things go South before they restore email access.

The #exonerateMichaelChristopherBlocker campaign is extremely concerned.
