1) I have not published any more chapters of Michael's book because I want to take the book in a different direction, and my writing arm was injured. However, I want Michael's approval of the plot change. That approval is pending. 2) Many people question whether Michael deserves to be in caught up in prison for a charge that he DID NOT commit. Like "Karma" or something. God has a Master plan. Those who unlawfully tricked him out of finishing his trial because they knew that the DNA report did not support rape, the expedited rape kit did not support rape, and even the grand jury made rape a secondary charge. I understand that he was a non-violent repeat offender according to his past record. Maybe that made him an easy target as a scapegoat for a long line of promotions. However, as "karma" may have it - God allowed me to piece the puzzle together little by little beginning about two years ago. I would have gladly backed off if someone could explain to me how Michael Christopher Blocker was not a victim of prosecutorial misconduct. But no. NOT one person wants to touch the case because Michael was clearly denied his constitutional rights. He was railroaded like many other families from that Augusta, GA area. The real corruption in Augusta, GA carry titles and wear robes, and they have been in power for decades. 3) Famous last words from the Augusta FBI and the Georgia Attorney General offices: "Get an attorney or talk to an attorney." Excuse me? Post-conviction attorneys are tens of thousands of dollars and that may just be to review the case. Then as in the "Crown Heights" movie, the attorneys take your money, and because of the politics and corruption, there is still no guarantee that they can CRAFT a way to undo the MESS that the judge and prosecutors made in the case. They clearly did not go by the book, and they clearly never expected to have to answer for their underhanded actions. It is cases like Michael Christopher Blocker's that land innocent men into prison because no one wants to take the time to perform checks and balances on each case to make sure that at least have a DNA Expert to explain the DNA report. They NEVER let a DNA Expert take the stand in Michael's two days of trial which all documentation has disappeared, and he was told not to try to contact the court reporter. I could go on and on about the circus that our family has encountered in the two years of bringing light to the insurmountable errors that were made in Michael's treatment from arrest through sentencing. In conclusion, while Michael Christopher Blocker has not lived a life as a saint, neither has the judicial system that landed him in prison with a life sentence for a crime that he did not commit. I asked nicely about two years ago for those in charge to QUIETLY correct the situation, but apparently, they found my request funny. Well, the joke (going into the third year) is NOT too funny anymore. He who laughs FIRST is often the LAST Laugh. Cheers to YEAR THREE of this fight!
