It was not your imagination. I took a vacation from writing for a few weeks. Lucky for you, three book chapters are attached. Unluckily, Michael has had to sustain quite of few environmental challenges inside his current warehouse/ prison dorm. Everything from a sewer backup/break to intense summer heat because this particular prison does not have large fans in the dorm. Michael witnessed how other inmates who arrived at the prison after him but were re-assigned to better dorms within weeks. He's been stuck in the intake dorm for months now. He has requested faith based status from his counselors, chaplain and a few others. Nothing is working. In addition, my name was "purposedly deactivated" from advocating on his behalf due to specific paperwork required for that particular prison. We have to wait until November to get me approved. Michael is still without a tablet. I still have to inquire about getting his old tablet transferred from the old prison if possible. So your prayers for a cooler dorm for Michael is needed. We feel his treatment is being personally directed. He finally made it to the law library. We are happy about that. We are hoping to secure better news this week about relocating him out of the ultra hot intake dormitory. None of the inmates should have to be subjected to such harsh conditions in the state prison system. On a separate note, I changed the face on the book release for now.
