Re: Wilhelm Winkels  Dear Celine:  The Canadian Ski Hall of Fame Selection Committee is preparing to review nominations for the Class of 2024.        I would like to encourage you to review your most recent nomination and take the opportunity to submit additional information that may be helpful to the committee when reviewing your nominee.        You may also want to review the Nomination Information page on the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame and Museum website. This has been recently updated to provide more detail concerning the evaluation criteria for the different categories of nominations:https://skimuseum.ca/nomination-information/

When submitting additional information or documents, please consider the following:
General photos of your nominee (e.g. competition, podium or personal images) are not relevant to the evaluation of your nominee and should NOT be included in additional materials.       Photos of historical newspaper or magazine clippings which may add to the story and understanding of your nominee’s contributions to the sport may be included and will be reviewed in the evaluation process.
You should note that the most relevant additional information that will enhance your nomination should include letters of reference or testimonials from other people (teammates, colleagues, others who can corroborate or add to information provided in your nomination form) adding to “the story” of your nominee’s contributions to snowsports and demonstrating their worthiness to become an Honoured Member of the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame. It is also particularly helpful where additional information emphasizes how the candidate's impact can be considered of national or international significance.
