I am personally touched by the remarkable contributions of Rob Burrows and Kevin Sinfield, two professional rugby players who have dedicated their lives to serving others. Their courage, especially that of Rob Burrows, has been a beacon of hope for many across our nation. Beyond their prowess on the field, they have made significant strides in raising awareness and support for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Their tireless efforts have positively impacted communities all over the country.

Rob's personal battle with MND has not deterred him from his mission to help others. His bravery is an inspiration to us all. Similarly, Kevin's unwavering support for his friend and teammate demonstrates a level of camaraderie that goes beyond sport.

Their actions embody the true spirit of knighthood - service above self - making them deserving candidates for this honourable recognition. By nominating them for knighthood, we acknowledge their invaluable contributions to society and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
