I watched this video and I had to make a collage and share the picture because this young lady honestly blew my mind with her courage.

This unknown heroine is chanting in the middle of the street in Iran.  The oppressive (security) forces gang up on her and push her to the ground and lift her up and try to load her in their car.  People come to her rescue and force them to release her.

WHAT DOES SHE DO NEXT?  Does she run, does she go home to safety, does she hide?  Amazingly NO.  she goes on the side of the same street and gets back to chanting again.

You ask what motivated us to set up this petition to nominate women in Iran? Because we all have seen multitudes of examples of such heroism, the likes of which I can honestly say that I have not seen live and right in front of me, EVER!
