In the picture, solidarity of women in Iran.  Fighting for women’s rights has been a challenge for women all over the world.  In Iran, when a woman has to decide if she will join the demonstrations today, she has to make her decision knowing that she might get beat, assaulted and shot at.  But that is if she doesn’t get caught and taken to prison in Iran.  In prison, the risks are beating, assault, sexual assault, rape, and murder.  Against that background, more and more women in Iran are choosing women’s rights over their personal safety of clear and present danger.
