Hey everyone,
As you may know by now, Maroon 5, Travis Scott, Big Boi and others are taking the Super Bowl halftime stage. They have been criticized for it. A petition is out asking for them to #TakeAKnee during their performance to show solidarity of Colin Kaepernick. Various news outlets have already discussed this.
We want to amply this. We are looking for people to send us a quick video on why these artists should #TakeAKnee during their Super Bowl halftime performance. We have a team that will compile the videos, and it will be widely shared on various platforms.
Here are the guidelines:
- Video should be no more than 15 seconds.
- If you use your phone, make sure you record horizontally
- Simply answer this: Why was Colin Kaepernick "taking a knee" important to you.
- You don't have to say your name / location. We won't share that info.
