It is with great sadness that we inform you Sir Nicholas Winton has passed away today at the age of 106. From BBC News: "His son-in-law said Winton died peacefully in his sleep at Wexham Hospital, Slough. He died on the anniversary of the departure of a train in 1939 carrying the largest number of rescued children - 241." Our thoughts and prayers are with the Winton family, as well as his extended family of those children that he saved.
