The issue

Firstly - let me say - I am pro renewables and believe climate change should be addressed.

What I want is a ban on offshore wind turbines being visible from the shore. Gippsland, and in particular the 90 mile beach is a natural wonder - why would we want to impact this pristine, beautiful and natural part of Australia with turbines??

Again, I support turbines - but put them in areas where we cannot see them. They will take away from the beauty of our area, disrupt our time on the beach and unlikely to bring people to the 90-mile area to holiday…

just ask yourself this question, would you like a wind turbine near st kinda beach, ocean grove or Brighton beach? I think not!

build it far, far away.

I will use this forum to provide up-to-date news and updates as I hear them...so lets build a community, be progressive - but also not forget - natural beauty must be protected at all costs!
