Project postponed and heads to City Council - CONTACT CITY COUNCIL TODAY

The Planning Commission meeting was well attended- they said perhaps the MOST well-attended one in years. People do NOT want this gas station.
The Commission is going to send it to City Council, for a chance to amend zoning to not have gas stations within 500 ft of a residential zone.
Nancy Ross, District 2 Council member is the main person to contact
Although you can contact all the members, their contact info and names are here- https://www.cathedralcity.gov/government/mayor-council
Krogers worked with the City for 2 years on this project, and only gave the neighbors notice one week ago. The City only requires public notices be sent to a 350 ft radius, though hardly anyone in this area received notice about the project and Public Hearing.
If the Planning Commission APPROVES the project, the community can appeal it within 10 days. If they DENY the project, then Krogers can appeal it within 10 days. This is on Krogers/Food4Less to demonstrate how this toxic neighbor is good for our community. In 2 years they could have let any of us know their plans, and in all that time, neither the City, nor Krogers did so.
It is imperative you let the City Council know you are opposed to this project, and opposed to any new gas stations being built within 500 ft of a residential zone.
Thank you for all of those who have showed up, signed up, and spoke up.
