Thank you for your support of the ongoing efforts to stop the quarry along Homestead Road in Fort Wayne.  Here are some important upcoming dates to mark on your calendar.  Please take the time to attend.  Bring family and friends so that we can show the County planners that there is a strong presence in our community and we do not want the quarry here.  

Wednesday, April 22 at 5:30 PM at the Landmark Event Center: The Heritage Group (wanting to develop a quarry and asphalt/concrete plant here) will present their plans to the public and have a meaningful, respectful discussion.  This is open to everyone. 

May 14 at 1:30 the rezoning of the property for Heritage Group will have a public hearing with the Allen County Plan Commission in Citizens Square.  This is a public hearing and it will be important that we pack the room to overflowing.  You will be welcome to share your concerns or just sit back and listen.  This is a tentative date, and will verify by April 8.  

May 20 at 1:30 the Board of Zoning Appeals will have a public hearing for this project in Citizens Square.  Again, this is a public meeting and it will be important that we pack the room to overflowing.  This is also a tentative date, and will verify by April 8.
