However, there is now a second issue that many Australians are becoming increasingly aware of.
Public records from IP Australia show that the brand As Ever by Meghan Markle has already secured multiple trademarks across Australia, covering a wide range of commercial areas including food, retail, online retail, homeware, media and hospitality.
In addition, the Archewell name is already registered in Australia across media, content and audio, indicating an established presence.
This suggests that this visit may not simply be a private trip, but part of a broader commercial expansion into Australia.
At a time when Australians are facing cost of living pressures, many believe the focus should remain on supporting local farmers, small businesses and communities.
