Victory for #NoTaxOnTampons! July 1st the #TamponTax is removed. PERIOD.

Thank you to everyone who supported this campaign! Together we called on our government to remove this discriminatory tax and today the government has announced an amendment to the budget — removing sales tax from menstrual hygiene products. Effective July 1st, 2015 pads, tampons, menstrual cups, and other essential items will be more affordable for people with their periods.
