262 as of today! As of this afternoon, Bethlahem Baptist Church, as not filed an appeal regarding the denial of the application for a Safe Out Door Space. They have 10 days to appeal since 8/13/22.
I am in process of starting a newsletter, that will inform residents of things that will affect out West Mesa Neighborhood, and Albuquerque in General. After attending and commenting at last weeks Albuquerque City Counsil meeting, I was able to see first hand at the way the city spends our money, and many counsil members do not represent what their constituents want. Even the city legal team tried to censor public comments by West Mesa residents regarding our reasons of opposing the SOS spaces in our neighborhood. He advised we only generalize and not talk about the specific space we live by. I am going to do more legal research on the our free speech rights at a city counsil meeting- because this so called "advice" is in favor of the city and not the residents. One of my neighbors was cut off by the city legal team, and she said, "Your work for us, and this is how you treat us??? We pay you."
