This is the story of the Arranged Inter Caste Marriage in the then Andhra State  done by Mr.Goparaju Ramachandra Rao @ Gora  and Ms.Saraswati couple to their second daughter Ms.Manorama (93) with Mr.Arjun Rao (103). It was recorded as second arranged  inter caste marriage in the then Andhra State. The marriage held in Sevagram on 13 March,1948  in the presence of  Jawahar Lal Nehru ( Our First Prime Minister ), Vinobha Bhave , Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan , Thakkar , Prabhakar and so on.. Actually the marriage supposed to be held in the presence of Gandhi ji .. as he is being Assassinated on  30 th January, 1948 it was planned later in the presence of Nehru ji

The story covers the spirit during the Independence struggle and the progressive spirit and the great atmosphere prevailing that time..

Now the Old Couple are sad with prevailing hatred in our society based on caste and creed.
