Ref : Our " No Religion No Caste Change dot org Online Petition "
We D.V.Ramakrishna Rao and S.Clarance Krupalini wanted to bring these few lines to your kind notice. Our's is a Inter Caste and Inter Religious marriage. We are with inter caste and inter religious origins. We decided not to impart any caste or religious beliefs on our children. But in the School , College admission forms they have insisted to write either of the parents religion. Then we approached the then High Court of Andhrapradeh in the year 2010 and got instant relief. But we are facing recurring problem. In 2017 we filed a writ petition in the Telangana High Court. It is pending for final Hearing. We humbly request you to kindly give a direction in this regard.
We all Know that Our Constitution Drafting Committee Chairman Dr B. R Ambedkar , Many other social reformers dreamt for Annihilation of Caste and creed. In the light of 75th Year of Independence , it's high time to think on this. By giving a choice for " No Religion " , " No Caste " option in all application forms both online and off line We can encourage the people's conscious choice for NO Religion No Caste. Ultimately the tensions around religion and caste fade away in our society. We can uphold the Humanity beyond the caste and creed. As your deeply connected with telugu literature.. We want bring the few lines to your kind notice from the poetry of Sri Gurajada Apparao - " మతములన్నియు మాసి పోవును.. జ్ణామొక్కటే నిలిచి వెలుగును " Hope the day is not too far.. Many people are fighting at various level for such option. Even the Indian Census 2021 are coming up. With your direction Hope Indian Census will include an option for " No Religion , No caste " people.
