I apologize for the lack of updates as we have navigated the Learning Care Group system. We first contacted our district manager, Stefania Folta, who informed us that the decision to charge for RockStarts was above her level and that she could not support our efforts or enact any change. From there, we attempted to elevate our concerns further to the regional manager, reinforcing not only what was outlined in the petition but also the unique circumstances of our community. Many of our families rely on federal employment or government-funded grants, and the current environment has left many of us facing fundamental financial uncertainty. Despite these efforts, it has become clear that the decision to discontinue RockStarts as a fully included program will not be reconsidered.

We know this news is disappointing and comes with genuine sadness. I sincerely thank each of you for your support, signatures, and the heartfelt messages you have shared. Even though Learning Care Group has held firm in their decision, they now know that we are aware, engaged, and willing to question choices that affect our children. This may feel like a step backward, but it does not have to mean our voices are silenced. These are our children; when it matters most, families, not corporations, make the critical decisions.

Now, it is time for each family to consider their own way forward. If you want your child to continue experiencing the exceptional benefits that Mr. Nick and the RockStarts program bring, you must decide whether to opt into the program. Currently, enrollment is low; there is a real possibility that the program will not continue without increased participation. Classes begin in September, and there is a deadline for enrollment that I will confirm and share early next week. I tell you this not to sway you in either direction, but to inform.
