The Secretary of the Maritime Union Australia (MUA) Chris Cain has declared war on Southern Councils that are supporting the Outer Harbour proposal in Cockburn. Over this weekend the attached flyers were being distributed to mailboxes of South Ward residents for the Fremantle Bi-Election to ask voters to consider the environmental damage to Cockburn Sound and the loss of jobs if this harbour was to go ahead. Marija Vujcic is the only candidate of the 3 that is against the environmental destruction of an outer harbour. With this powerful union behind the campaign the possibility of Roe 8 being back on the agenda is a strong possibility.
